Internship

I have a new internship that will be going on this semester and into the next. I am going to be teaching middle schoolers through an anti-violence and anti- drug program. So far I have taught both fifth and seventh grade. Let me tell you, fifth graders are a hard age. They were way more violent than I thought they would be. I asked a simple question about what they would do if another student took a pencil out of their desk without asking. More than one student responded, "I would kill him!" Man, have I got my work cut out for me. Thank goodness they were just trying to be funny. I hope :)
